Once a runway model, Laura Flook's fashion sense is full of Gothic inspired girly frocks sure to please those with an affection for the "darker" side of aesthetics. It may come as a shock, or not, to you that Laura is also a seasoned funerary embalmer. Each of her pieces have a Victorian quality to them emanating her creativity. Each piece is hand-made and ranges in price, but on average is around $400.

Flook has a passion for her own cause which is why I am featuring her here. 5% of any online purchases will be donated to NARSAD (National Alliance for Research on Schizophrenia and Depression Click here to visit NARSAD's website) that will help fund research into prevention and treatment of mental illnesses, such as schizophrenia, depression and bipolar disorder. Certainly our cause directly relates in many cases to mental disorders and the treatment and prevention of will further support our efforts in the healing process for domestic violence victims.

ReplyDeleteI've been trying SOO HARD to find Laura after seeing her STUNNING clothing on Oddities on Discovery. Haha! I'm glad I did. Sad that I can't afford anything. D:
ReplyDeleteThank you for some other informative blog. Where else could I get that type of information written in such an ideal means? I have a mission that I’m just now working on, and I have been at the look out for such information. Gul Ahmed
