Friends Assisting Women in Need, Inc. did just that, in a most fabulous way, at their annual FAWN Dinner and Fashion Show that benefited Housing Opportunities in the budding town of Valparaiso, Indiana. Housing Opportunities is a HUD-approved and state certified housing agency that serves all of Northwest Indiana and empowers its clients whom are homeless, (most of which are so due to domestic violence), to gain life skills, self-reliance, job preparation training, and find housing options that are safe and affordable. Ultimately, their goal is to break the cycle of homelessness by providing preventative and crisis services.
